Questions homeowners ask us
Can I get out of my solar deal?
Sometimes, and only in the ways your paperwork allows. Inside the first days after signing, most states and the FTC Cooling-Off Rule give a short cancellation window. After that, a solar loan ends by payoff, transfer, refinance, or a documented dispute; a lease or PPA ends by buyout, transfer, or the end of the term. Your own contract, loan, or lease decides which routes are open — which is exactly what the two workbooks are built from.
What does Exit My Solar Deal actually sell?
One package of two educational workbooks, compiled from the solar papers you provide: Your Actions, a do-it-yourself action workbook, and The In-Depth Version, a detailed findings workbook. The price is $3,500 for the package, both books always included. Each book is delivered by email within 3–5 business days of purchase; delivery occurs after the 3-day cancellation window closes.
Is this a law firm or a lawsuit?
No. Exit My Solar Deal is a publisher and retailer of educational workbooks. We are not a law firm, nothing here is legal advice, we do not contact your lender or negotiate for you, and no outcome is promised. For legal advice about your situation, a licensed attorney in your state is the right call.
Do I pay before I see anything?
No. You share your papers by phone and online, and we show you the main findings first — the mismatches and the numbers, in plain English — before you sign or pay anything. If you then buy the package, the full workbooks are built from your documents and emailed to you.
Can I cancel after I buy?
Yes. Every purchase comes with a 3-business-day right to cancel for a full refund, written into your agreement and honored however the sale was made. After that window, all sales are final, including after delivery.
